Boys & Girls Clubs of the Los Angeles Harbor, San Pedro/Wilmington, CA
Music Program Coordinator (January 2015 - Present)
Music Program Coordinator: supervises all music instructors and music programs located within three main site locations. Currently supervises six music instructors. Manages music budget and supply orders. Coordinates music program staff schedules and program needs with other facility Directors, Development team, and in collaboration with all staff. Coordinates with all staff for the Arts Academy Program, which showcases all art forms (i.e., fine arts, digital arts, dance, and music) at a bi-annual community event located at the Warner Grand Theater in San Pedro, CA. Created music charts. Provided music staff training for appropriate lesson planning and facility policies.

Music Instructor (January 2009 - Present)
Music Instructor: adept in creating positive, engaging, and supportive learning environments for students from diverse backgrounds. Implement instrumental music instruction to students participating in the after-school music program. Aided in the development and creation of an individualized teaching methodology within a music program that is provided to all ages and music levels (K-12). Teaches students how to read music notation, develop proficiency on specific instruments such as: piano, guitar, drums, ukulele and voice. Established youth chorus and various rock bands/ensembles. Ensured that all members received proper techniques for the appropriate instrument. Engaged students with unique and fun lesson plans. Retained accurate records of student attendance sheets and applications. Organized and coordinated countless recitals in collaboration with the dance program. Setting up stage with instruments and accurate sound equipment.

Assisted Dr. Stephen F. Moore. Graded all tests, homework assignments, and concert reports. Tutored students regarding the material presented during lectures. Musical Instruments
Over twenty years studying piano: musicianship, technique, and Classical to Contemporary repertoire. Basic knowledge and skills with most instrument families other than piano, and which include guitar, voice, percussion, strings, winds, and brass.
